One of astrology’s gifts to the creative process is the rhythms of the Moon.  Even major projects get developed in daily hours and minutes, and the Moon’s cycles suggest a creative rhythm that works for many people.

The rules are simple:  Don’t start anything new when the Moon is void if you want your planned or expected outcome.  Things begun when the Moon is void are difficult to complete.   On the other hand, a good way to kill an unwanted project politely, one you can’t reasonably decline, is to start it when the Moon is void and expect it to die out naturally or at least change direction.

Use the void periods, when the Moon isn’t making further aspects before leaving its current zodiac sign, for brainstorming, problem solving or just taking a break from the work.
